SCOPITONE

Οι SCOPITONE δημιουργήθηκαν το 2000, είναι ένα τρίο και φέτος κυκλοφορεί η πρώτη τους δισκογραφική δουλεία, με τίτλο IF YOU NEED ME. Νωρίτερα είχαν μιά παρουσία στην γνωστή συλλογή Cafe Paradiso II με το single End of Carnival όπως και στην Βρετανική συλλογή Showgirls and Superdaddies με ένα remix στο Anthem των Mantepulciano-Viva Planet M. Παρά το σύντομο της ιστορίας τους, έχουν εμφανιστεί δύο φορές στο Λονδίνο στο θρυλικό club Rivoli, έχουν ανοίξει επίσεις την συναυλία των Thievery Corporation με τους οποίους έχουν συνεργαστεί -κυκλοφορία που αναμένεται σύντομα- όπως και με τον Kid Loco. Με Γαλλικές ρίζες και επιρροές δηλώνουν θαυμαστές του Serge Gainsbourg στην μνήμη του οποίου είναι αφιερωμένη η πρώτη τους δισκογραφική δουλεία...

Οι SCOPITONE, το καλοκαίρι του 2003, έγιναν γνωστοί και αγαπήθηκαν στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό με την επιτυχία τους "If you need me". Σήμερα, μετά δέκα μηνών ατελείωτες ώρες στο studio, έρχονται και παρουσιάζουν την ανακατασκευή "RECONSTRUCTION" στις μεγαλύτερες Ελληνικές και διεθνείς επιτυχίες,   του σπουδαιότερου σημερινού Έλληνα συνθέτη ΜΙΧΑΛΗ ΝΙΚΟΛΟΥΔΗ. Οι SCOPITONE μας εκστασιάζουν και μας μαγεύουν, ταξιδεύοντας μας μοναδικά από την Ανατολή στη Δύση, παντρεύοντας την Ethnic με την Easy Listening την Hip Hop και την Pop. Το album περιέχει 12 τραγούδια και θεωρείται από τα κορυφαία του είδους του...

Scopitone, known from their hit "If you need me", present the reconstruction  "RECONSTRUCTION" of the greatest Greek and international hits of the foremost current Greek composer Michalis Nikoloudis. Scopitone rapture and fascinate us, by travelling  from East to West, matching  the Ethnic with the Easy Listening the Hip - Hop and the Pop music. The total duration of the album is 50:20 and contains 12 songs.

SCOPITONE est un trio qui a vue le jour au cours de l'annee 2000, annee de leur premier single 'If you need me.L' annee derniere ils sont apparus sur la compilation Cafe Paradiso avec le morceau End of Carnival. SCOPITONE a egalement remixe Montepulciano's ainci que Viva Planet M pour la compilation anglaise Showgirls and Sugardaddies. Ils ont aussi joue deux fois dans le temple Londonien du lounge Rivoli en tant qu'invites de Montepulciano. L'annee derniere, ils ont fait l'ouverture du concert de Thievery Corporation a Athene. Leur collaboration avec Thievery Corporation devrait bientot donner naissance a un disque. Leur influence Francaise ainsi que leur admiration pour Serge Gainsbourg les ont logiquement amene a dedicacer leur premier album a ce dernier...

SCOPITONE is a trio which was born in the year 2000 and this year they release their first single under the name 'If you need me'.  Last year they had their contribution in Caf? Paradiso compilation with the track End of Carnival. SCOPITONE also remixed Montepulciano's anthem Viva Planet M for the English compilation Showgirls and Sugugardaddies. They have also played twice at the lounge palace of London at Rivoli as guests of Montepulciano. They opened Thievery's Corporation live in Athens last year and they have a collaboration with Thievery Corporation soon to be released. With French influence in their music and big fans of Serge Gainsbourg SCOPITONE dedicate their first project to this great artist...
